Team Relson Gracie In-School Hawaii Tournament a Huge Success!

Gracie Uptown hosted an in-school tournament for all the Relson Assocations in Hawaii on Saturday, February 28. It just so happened that there was a state tournament that day, but that was the only day available so the vast majority of the team supported the in-school tournament. We had about 130 competitors from kids all the way up to adults. There were a bunch of high level purple belt and brown belt matches as well so that was a treat for all. Gracie Uptown, O2 Martial Arts Academy, Team HK, HNL Jiu-Jitsu, Team Papakolea Jiu-Jitsu, and V-Land academies attended so we had great variety as well. The tournament was run extremely efficiently so we were in and out of there really fast (just a bit over 3.5 hours) which everyone absolutely loved.

Iron sharpens iron and we could see great results to bring back to the academies to share with our teams. We may plan the next in-school in April to prepare for the large upcoming Naga Hawaii tournament in May.
